We are partnering with a leading international law firm in Dublin City Centre, currently seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join their growing team on a part-time basis (three days per week).
This newly created, hands-on position offers the opportunity to lead HR activities locally, partnering with the Dublin leadership team while collaborating closely with the wider international HR function. The role will focus on providing strategic and operational HR support across employee relations, performance management, policy development, recruitment, and HR systems.

The Role
- The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality HR support to partners, managers, and employees in the Dublin office, while also supporting firm-wide HR initiatives.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of the employment lifecycle.
- Manage employee relations cases with professionalism and care, including investigations, grievances, and performance matters.
- Lead the annual appraisal and salary review process, working with the central Reward team on benchmarking and analysis.
- Partner with senior leaders to drive performance management, learning, and career development initiatives.
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures remain compliant with current employment law and reflect best practice.
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities in collaboration with the central recruitment team.
- Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, including management development programmes.
- Assist with early careers recruitment and trainee development where required.
- Support the rollout of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives locally.
The Person
- Extensive HR generalist experience within a professional services or similar corporate environment
- Experience managing key HR processes including employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR accreditation desirable.
- Extensive practical experience of Irish employment law
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide pragmatic advice.
- Professional, discreet, and confident in handling sensitive matters.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working autonomously as the first HR presence in Dublin while collaborating with a wider international HR team.
