We are currently working with a leading international law firm seeking to appoint a Senior Employment Solicitor to join its growing Dublin team.

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer who wants exposure to complex, strategic and business-critical employment matters within a highly respected international platform.

The Team

The Employment practice is led by a Partner with significant international experience advising domestic and multinational organisations on complex workforce and strategic employment issues.

The team has a strong reputation in:

  • Workforce restructurings and collective redundancies

  • TUPE transfers, particularly in the context of M&A

  • Executive exits and senior-level negotiations

  • Sensitive internal investigations

  • Employment litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing

  • Immigration & mobility matters

  • Employment-related pensions advisory

The approach is pragmatic, commercially driven and aligned to broader business strategy. Clients include multinational corporates, scaling businesses and leadership teams navigating high-pressure and transformational change.

The Role

This is a senior position within the team, offering significant responsibility and client exposure.

You will:

  • Advise on complex advisory and contentious employment matters

  • Lead elements of large-scale restructuring projects

  • Support corporate transactions from an employment perspective

  • Work directly with senior HR teams, executives and boards

  • Manage disputes before the WRC and Labour Court

  • Play a key role in mentoring more junior team members

This role offers real autonomy, high-quality work and clear progression prospects.

The Person

You will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in employment law

  • Have strong experience across both advisory and contentious matters

  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and strategic thinking

  • Be confident advising senior stakeholders

  • Have strong drafting, negotiation and organisational skills

International or transactional exposure would be advantageous but not essential.
