Financial Services Administrator
We are hiring for our client, a well-established Independent Financial Adviser firm in East Belfast, who are seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their team. The Role:
• Provide administrative support to financial advisers and paraplanners in day-to-day tasks
• Assist with client onboarding, document preparation, and product applications
• Manage and update client records using internal systems and CRM software
• Process and track new business applications for pensions, investments, mortgages, and life insurance
• Prepare client reports, investment valuations, and other financial documents as required
• Handle client inquiries and provide updates on the status of their applications or financial matters
• Assist with accounting and billing for clients, including fee statements and payment processing
• Liaise with product providers, insurers, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies
• Provide general administrative support, including managing diaries and handling incoming communications
The Person – What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in banking, financial services administration, mortgage administration, or pensions administration is required
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT proficient with experience using CRM software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Previous experience in an IFA environment is desirable but not essential, an understanding of IFAs is required
• Friendly, professional, and client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
