The successful HR Generalist will provide proactive, comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a true generalist role, working closely with managers and senior stakeholders to support day-to-day HR operations and people initiatives across a multi-site business.

The Role:
- Support end-to-end recruitment, including job descriptions, advertising, interviews, and offers
- Coordinate onboarding to ensure a positive new starter experience
- Advise managers on employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and capability
- Support and lead investigations, hearings, and appeals in line with policy and legislation
- Prepare contracts, offer letters, variations, and employment documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems in line with GDPR
- Monitor sickness absence, produce reports, and identify trends
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Contribute to HR projects, including engagement, wellbeing, organisational change, and EDI initiatives
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working
The Person:
- CIPD Level 5 (or above)
- 2+ years experience in a generalist HR/HR Officer/ HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience advising managers on employee relations issues
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
- Experience supporting change management or organisational development initiatives
