We are hiring for our client, an established and expanding manufacturing business based near Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, who wish to appoint an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance — Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends — and a competitive package including overtime opportunities.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production efficiency across all electrical systems on site.

The Role:

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of production and process equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery, motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels
• Support ongoing continuous improvement and preventative maintenance programmes
• Work closely with the production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and enhance efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in line with company standards
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades

The Person:

• Electrical engineering qualification
• Background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Excellent electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to maintenance and safety
• Team player with good communication and organisational skills
