The Opportunity

We are working with a market-leading funds and investment management practice in Dublin that is seeking to appoint an experienced Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to support its highly regarded Irish Funds team.

This is a flexible and senior knowledge role, suitable for an established PSL or an experienced funds lawyer (6+ PQE) looking to move into a strategic, practice-focused position. The scope of the role can be tailored, ranging from part-time regulatory updates to a full-time knowledge leadership role.

You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners, playing a key role in knowledge management, regulatory insight, training and client-facing thought leadership within a top-tier funds practice.

The Role

As Professional Support Lawyer, you will:

• Develop, draft and maintain precedents, practice notes, legal guides and checklists
• Monitor and analyse Irish, EU and international regulatory developments affecting funds and asset management
• Prepare clear, practical briefings, alerts and updates for lawyers and clients
• Coordinate and contribute to internal and external training programmes
• Support business development through thought leadership, webinars, presentations and client content
• Attend client meetings and events, providing technical and commercial support
• Promote consistent knowledge sharing and best practice across teams
• Work closely with lawyers to embed efficient knowledge systems and tools

The Person

• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE in funds and investment management
• Background gained in a recognised leading law firm or equivalent
• Prior PSL experience welcome but not essential
• Strong interest in legal knowledge, regulation and practice development
• Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
• Proactive, organised and collaborative
