Description

We are hiring for our client, a well-established and growing engineering organisation, who are seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Technician to support customers across the West of Ireland. This CNC Field Service Technician role is ideally suited to a hands-on engineer who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and working directly with customers to keep high-value CNC machinery operating at peak performance.

Based from Limerick or Galway, the successful CNC Field Service Technician will work Monday to Friday, providing installation, servicing, fault-finding, and technical support on advanced CNC equipment.

1. €60,000 base salary + overtime available
2. Great benefits including company car, annual bonus, pension scheme
3. Can be Limerick OR Galway based
4. Monday – Friday only, no regular weekend working

The Role

• Service, maintain, and repair CNC machinery at customer sites
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system faults
• Install new CNC equipment and carry out commissioning activities
• Provide technical support and training to customers where required
• Accurately complete service reports and documentation
• Represent the company professionally at all customer locations

The Person

• Time-served engineer or relevant engineering qualification
• Experience servicing CNC machines in a field or workshop environment
• Strong understanding of CNC controls, drives, electrical and mechanical systems
• Full driving licence
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
