The Role:
- Develop and maintain data models to forecast power market trends and system outcomes.
- Conduct research and provide scenario analysis to support decision-making in energy market design and regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Present complex technical information in a concise and accessible manner.
- Collaborate across teams and external stakeholders to achieve program goals.
The Person:
- Relevant third-level qualification (data science, economics, engineering, or related field).
- 5+ years’ experience in data analysis within the energy sector or a similarly complex environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, and Excel for managing large datasets.
- Proven ability to communicate technical findings to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in leading or mentoring teams is a plus, especially for Senior-level candidates.
