We are hiring for our client, an established Civil Engineering and Utilities contractor based in Dundalk, for the recruitment of a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. This MEICA Engineer role is based across active project sites spanning ROI, working closely with operational teams, site management, and senior leadership. Oversee the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design and vendor procurement to on-site installation, compliance, commissioning, and final handover.

Main Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Assign responsibilities and support the project team
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Collaborating with stakeholders about their needs and goals for the project
?What youll need
- A degree, HNC, or HND in an engineering discipline.
- Chartered or working towards Chartership (CEng).
- Experience in a water or similar industrial background.
- Understanding of CDM and how its applied to projects.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Willing to learn.
- A valid UK driving licence.
