We are delighted to be partnering with a successful, multi-site organisation within the construction sector, in the Wicklow area, Ireland, who are seeking an experienced HR Officer / HR Coordinator to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact. Working as a standalone HR function, you will take ownership of the day-to-day HR operations, partner closely with senior leadership and play a key role in developing people processes across the business.
This role would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, training and engagement.

The Role
- Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service across the organisation, including:
- Managing day-to-day HR operations including employee records, contracts, absence management and leave administration
- Leading the full recruitment lifecycle including workforce planning, job advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination and offers
- Delivering a structured onboarding and induction process for all new employees
- Coordinating training and development initiatives, including CPD, certification tracking and training needs analysis
- Providing HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Maintaining HR policies, procedures and employee documentation in line with Irish employment legislation
- Ensuring compliance with employment law, GDPR and company processes
- Supporting leadership with HR reporting, workforce data and planning
- Championing employee engagement, wellbeing and a positive workplace culture
The Person
- CIPD membership, desirable
- 3-5 years’ experience working within a HR generalist role
- A relevant third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to work independently and confidently advise managers at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Full driving licence and access to own transport
