The Role:
- Conduct product and provider research to support high-quality advice delivery
- Prepare compliant, client-specific analysis and suitability reports
- Support advisers with technical planning using cashflow tools and financial modelling
- Ensure documentation and files meet internal compliance and FCA standards
- Submit and process new business applications and liaise with product providers
- Attend client meetings alongside advisers as required
- Provide ongoing assistance in maintaining strong client relationships
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services products and regulations
- Play a role in strategic project work, adviser support and improving business efficiencies
The Person:
- Previous experience in a Paraplanner or technical support role within a financial planning firm
- Strong understanding of financial products and services including pensions, investments, and protection
- Confident using cashflow planning tools and back-office systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage own workload, work to deadlines, and demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Professional and discreet with a commitment to confidentiality
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards (desirable)
