We are hiring for our client, an innovative plastics manufacturer operating a highly automated facility in County Wicklow. Supplying products to a range of industries, including the medical device sector, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and skilled professional with experience in maintaining automated machinery, particularly within injection moulding or polymer processing environments.

The Role:

? Perform maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on highly automated machinery
? Ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment, with a focus on injection moulding and polymer processing machinery
? Work with PLC systems to diagnose and resolve technical issues
? Assist in preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime
? Collaborate with production teams to optimise machine performance

The Person:

? A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering
? Experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of automated machinery
? Background in maintaining injection moulding machinery or polymer processing equipment (highly advantageous)
? Familiarity with PLC systems (advantageous)
? A proactive and problem-solving approach to maintenance and repair work
