Description:
We are hiring for our client, a growing specialist contractor, who is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Dungannon. This Electrical Estimator role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate, compliant and competitive tender submissions across a range of projects.

The successful Electrical Estimator will play a key role in supporting continued business growth, working closely with the pre-construction, supply chain and project delivery teams.

The Role:

• Analyse tender documentation, including drawings, specifications and schedules
• Prepare accurate, compliant and competitive tender submissions
• Liaise with the supply chain to obtain competitive and compliant quotations
• Identify and cost value engineering opportunities
• Attend mid-tender and post-tender review meetings as required
• Work closely with pre-construction and contracts teams to support detailed project handovers

The Person:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar estimating role
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods
• Electrical apprenticeship, HNC, HND or similar technical qualification desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft 365
• Experience using Trimble estimating software desirable
• Strong commercial awareness, accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
