We are hiring for our client on the launch of a brand-new EV charging service division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician or EV Field Service Engineer to join a growing team covering commercial and industrial sites across NI and ROI. The successful Electrician / EV Field Service Engineer will carry out maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, testing, and commissioning of EV chargers and associated equipment, with the chance to help shape the service operation from the ground up.

The Role:
- Carry out preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, component replacement, and repair across a range of electrical systems and equipment
- Perform electrical testing, including insulation resistance, continuity, following safe isolation and lockout/tagout procedures
- Investigate and troubleshoot electrical and control-related faults using diagnostic tools, technical drawings, and service documentation
- Support commissioning of new installations, including inspection, testing, documentation, and handover
The Person:
- Safe Electric registration or an equivalent electrical qualification (QQI Level 6+, City & Guilds)
- 2+ years experience in electrical maintenance, installation, commissioning, or field service
- Confident reading single-line diagrams and using test instruments
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel
- EV charging experience beneficial but not essential - manufacturer training provided
