We are currently seeking a Trainee Shift Manager to join a leading food processing facility based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career within a well-established and reputable food production company across the UK and Ireland.

As the Trainee Shift Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and Operational Manager. You will also work closely with Supervisors, Line Leaders, and Technical personnel to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing resources to meet exacting specifications and targets, maximizing the performance of both people and equipment.

Essential Criteria:

• A 3rd level education or equivalent qualification in a food or agriculture-related field, or relevant supervisory experience in a production factory environment.

• Strong communication skills.

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.

• Ability to perform well under pressure.

• A keen eye for detail with excellent organizational skills.

• Capable of working independently and using initiative.

• Proficient in IT.

• Reliable, flexible, and punctual.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in a retail packing environment and/or the red meat industry.

• Experience in coordinating and managing teams.
