This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor who is keen to work on high-profile, innovative and business-critical matters across areas such as AI, cybersecurity, data protection, digital regulation, intellectual property and complex commercial contracts.

The Role

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of technology and innovation matters, including:

• Advising domestic and international clients on strategic and business-critical legal issues
• Drafting and negotiating large-scale technology and commercial contracts
• Advising on data protection, privacy, data governance and cybersecurity matters
• Supporting clients on artificial intelligence, operational resilience and digital regulation
• Advising on digital services, online platforms, e-commerce and content regulation
• Working on transactional and advisory intellectual property matters
• Collaborating with specialist teams on high-value client projects
• Managing and supporting junior solicitors on advisory matters
• Contributing to business development, client relationship management and thought leadership

The Person

The ideal candidate will be an experienced technology solicitor with:

• Strong experience in technology, privacy, data protection, IP and/or commercial contracts
• Excellent technical legal skills and a strong academic background
• A commercial, client-focused approach
• The ability to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
• Experience supporting or managing junior solicitors
• An interest in business development and client relationship management
• A proactive, ambitious and collaborative approach
