We are hiring for our client for a Technical Lead to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in Craigavon.
This Technical Lead role is a key position within the site, responsible for supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of the Food Safety & Quality Management System. You will work closely with production and technical teams to ensure products are manufactured to the highest standards, meeting both customer and regulatory requirements.
The successful Technical Lead will play a hands-on role in maintaining audit readiness, driving quality improvements and supporting the wider team in delivering safe, high-quality products.

The Role
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Food Safety & Quality Management System
- Ensure compliance with BRC, customer standards and relevant food safety legislation
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring the site remains audit-ready at all times
- Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support production teams with technical guidance on food safety, quality and GMP standards
- Monitor and review quality data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Assist in managing customer complaints and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure all documentation and records are maintained accurately and in line with requirements
- Support training and development of team members to promote a strong food safety culture
- Work cross-functionally with production, NPD and operations teams
The Person
- Food-related qualification or relevant experience within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards
- Experience working within a BRC or retailer-facing environment (desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
