Description

We are hiring for our client for an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on a construction project in Co. Armagh. This Site Manager role will suit someone from an engineering, civils, structural steel, or construction background who enjoys taking ownership of site delivery and maintaining high standards across safety, quality, and programme.

The successful Site Manager will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing site labour, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and safely. You will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure the project is completed to specification and within agreed timelines.

The Role

Manage daily site operations and monitor project progress
Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site labour
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
Read and interpret technical drawings and site documentation
Maintain daily site records and report delays, risks, or issues
Carry out site inductions and conduct regular safety checks
Attend site meetings and communicate actions to relevant teams
Monitor materials, deliveries, workmanship, and site standards
Support project completion and final handover

 

The Person

Experience in a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role
Background in engineering, civil engineering, structural steel, or construction
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
CSR Site Supervisor Card
Full driving licence

Desirable:
Qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or similar
First Aid qualification
Fire Warden qualification
