Description: We are hiring for our client, an established civil engineering contractor based in NI, seeking a 12-month fixed term SHEQ Advisor to join their successful team in Dublin. This SHEQ Advisor role covers a variety of projects across Ireland, including civils, infrastructure and energy developments, maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management.

The Role:

• Review, update and communicate Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and investigations, compiling reports
• Complete and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Document and investigate accidents/near misses, implementing improvements
• Deliver site inductions for employees, contractors and visitors
• Plan and coordinate SHEQ training
• Maintain SHEQ administration and support ISO 45001:2018, 14001:2015 and 9001:2015 documentation

The Person:

• 2+ years experience in SHEQ role; civils, sub-station, underground transmission knowledge
• NEBOSH (or equivalent), held for at least 2 years
• Environmental and Quality qualification advantageous
• Understanding of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 implementations
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Sound IT skills, including Microsoft packages
