The Role:

• Develop and implement the Compliance Framework and Compliance Plan.
• Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and provide strategic advice on controls and regulatory compliance.
• Review products, documents, and marketing communications for compliance.
• Participate in new business initiatives to ensure compliance considerations and risks are meticulously assessed.
• Support the maintenance of the risk management framework and contribute to reports for the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.

The Person:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Compliance function, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Qualified accountant or holder of a relevant 3rd level qualification in Business or Law.
• Additional compliance qualification is desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Irish financial regulations applicable to insurance intermediaries.
