We are hiring for our client, a well-established cost consultancy and project management practice, seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to support continued growth across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

This Senior Quantity Surveyor (PQS) role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality cost consultancy services on a diverse portfolio of public and private sector civil and building projects. You will take ownership of your own projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure commercial success, compliance, and value for money.

The Role

• Prepare detailed tenders, cost plans, and estimates
• Manage budgets, interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Administer construction contracts, including Public Works Contracts
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams
• Identify and manage commercial and programme risk
• Ensure compliance with public procurement and quality standards
• Attend site visits nationwide (minimum once per week)

The Person

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in a PQS consultancy environment
• Strong public sector procurement knowledge (Education / Housing)
• Proven ability to manage projects independently
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong IT skills (MS Office, CostX)
• Full, clean driving licence
