We are hiring for an experienced Senior HR Officer to join a dynamic global manufacturing organisation in the Dungannon area.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll provide comprehensive HR support to line managers and employees, offering guidance on employment matters, policies, procedures, and terms & conditions. This is a hands-on role that involves localised travel between sites and working with senior managers to address complex employee relations issues and drive HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background as an HR Officer/Generalist in a fast-paced environment, ideally a production led environment, and the confidence to manage the full range of HR matters.

The Role:

  • Provide HR guidance and advice on policies, procedures, and employee relations
  • Manage complex employee relations issues across all sites
  • Coordinate sickness absence management, performance appraisals, and occupational health referrals
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including advertising and onboarding
  • Organise and deliver internal training
  • Maintain HR database, personnel files, and other HR information sources
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to drive best practice
  • Provide timely data for payroll processing

 

The Person:

  • CIPD qualified (or working towards)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, generalist role, preferably within a production led environment (eg manufacturing/ engineering/ construction/ distribution)
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and managing complex cases
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with senior management
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and HR database systems
