We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global manufacturing company seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their dynamic engineering function. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role within a fast-paced and regulated environment.

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee Maintenance, Technical Engineering, and Engineering Projects, ensuring maximum production uptime and asset management.
• Regulatory & Compliance Focus: Lead engineering audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations (MHRA, FDA, cGMP).
• People & Project Management: Manage multi-disciplinary teams, drive process improvements, and oversee capital projects within a global pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering teams across Maintenance, Project Engineering, and Engineering Projects, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Ensure all engineering activities align with health & safety regulations and quality compliance standards.
• Drive strategic initiatives for asset management, capital projects, and process improvements.
• Provide technical expertise for the maintenance and procurement of process equipment, utilities, and facilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to optimize engineering support and vendor management.
• Monitor budgets and project performance, ensuring cost control and timely execution.
• Develop and mentor teams, fostering a positive and high-performing business culture.

The Person:

• Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (or significant experience in a leadership role).
• Experience: Extensive engineering experience within a regulated industry, Strong background in managing maintenance, engineering projects, and capital investments.
• Skills: Proven leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
