Description:

We are hiring for our client, a leading name in the food production industry. They are seeking a Quality Systems Manager to update and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with BRCGS standards, customer codes of practice, and internal policies.

This key role involves maintaining systems such as HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP, managing customer complaints, conducting internal audits, and completing risk assessments. As part of the technical team, you will ensure the business meets regulatory and customer expectations while driving continuous improvement within the business.

The Role:

  • Update and maintain the QMS and Procedures Manual in line with BRCGS and customer codes of practice.

  • Manage HAACP, TACCP, VACCP, and RSPO systems.

  • Coordinate and oversee customer complaints and internal audit systems.

  • Manage reporting and trending of KPIs, Root Cause Analysis, and internal Non-Conformance (NCF).

  • Lead monthly Quality Meetings, HACCP meetings, and ensure all minutes and actions are followed up appropriately.

  • Support the Technical Team and assist in customer audits.

 

The Person:

  • Proven 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within food manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of BRCGS, major retailer standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience in driving quality standards and managing audits.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage multiple departments.
