Quality Manager

Job Title: Technical Manager 

Salary: €65,000 - €70,000 

Location: County Cavan, Ireland 

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager/ Technical  to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding Food Manufacturing organization. In this role, you will report directly to the Group Technical Manager and oversee all quality-related aspects within one of the company’s state-of-the-art facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on all technical aspects of factory production to ensure that products meet customer expectations and comply with legal standards, particularly in food safety and quality.

• Collaborate with the factory team to promote continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on maintaining and improving product quality standards.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with both customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Ensure the facility is always audit-ready and compliant with necessary standards.

• Maintain the company’s BRC accreditation annually.

• Ensure that all customer quality requirements are consistently met.

• Address any non-conformances promptly and efficiently.

• Conduct audits and inspections, resolving any issues that arise.

• Prepare and present detailed reports for management review.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Quality/Technical Manager, with a strong understanding of quality control processes.

• Solid working knowledge of BRC standards, food legislation, and HACCP protocols.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development.

• Previous experience working with external customers is highly desirable.

• Strong report writing and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing working hours and requirements.

• A third-level qualification is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
