An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join a global industry leader within the food manufacturing sector. This role is based at their modern, high-performing manufacturing facility in Craigavon and is critical in supporting both operational excellence and strategic growth.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to ensure the efficient sourcing of goods and services. You will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing inventory and cost control measures, all while ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and value for money.
• Negotiate terms and contracts, driving savings without compromising quality.
• Monitor market trends to inform procurement strategy.
• Manage procurement KPIs, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Lead and coach the procurement team to deliver high performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, and HR teams to support business operations.
• Uphold strong standards in health & safety, sustainability, and corporate responsibility.

• Proven experience in a senior procurement or purchasing role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
