Opportunity to join a busy purchasing function within a well-established manufacturing environment. You’ll support day-to-day buying operations, ensuring materials are ordered, tracked and delivered in line with business requirements. Ideal for someone organised, detail-focused and comfortable working at pace.

The Role:
· Raise and manage purchase orders in line with operational requirements.
· Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
· Monitor open orders and proactively follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
· Support stock control processes and maintain accurate system records.
· Assist with supplier performance tracking and reporting.
· Investigate and resolve invoice, delivery or quantity discrepancies.
· Work closely with stores, production and finance to maintain smooth supply flow.
· Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems and support reporting requirements.
The Person:
· Previous experience in a purchasing, buying admin or supply chain support role.
· Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment desirable.
· Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
· Confident communicator comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
· Good systems capability (ERP/MRP) and strong Excel skills.
· Able to prioritise workload in a fast-moving environment.
