Description:
We are hiring for our client, a leading company operating in the water and wastewater sector, who are experiencing continued expansion and growth. They are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their team at their Head Office in County Carlow. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a unique opportunity to take the lead on critical infrastructure projects across Ireland, with an established business known for its technical excellence and strong team culture. The successful Project Manager will have a hands-on approach, combining office-based planning with regular site visits.

The Role:

• Manage and deliver key water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Oversee full project lifecycle – from design and procurement through to completion and handover
• Develop and review design drawings, reports and technical documentation
• Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, engineers and internal teams
• Monitor financial performance and track project progress against programmes
• Ensure site safety, quality control and regulatory compliance
• Lead site visits and supervise project delivery teams
• Maintain documentation, change orders, safety files and O&M manuals

 

The Person:

• Previous experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with prior Project Management responsibilities
• Industry experience in water/wastewater projects preferred
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction drawing coordination
• Skilled in managing multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Technically astute, commercially aware and highly organised
• Excellent communicator with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
