Location: Newry, South Down

Working Hours: 30-39 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: Excellent base salary, dependent on experience

 

We are hiring for our client, a well-established organisation, in growth mode, with sites across the UK and Ireland.

As the business continues to scale, they are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join their Head Office in Newry, South Down. This is an exciting, new, permanent opportunity to lead the delivery of an inclusive, values driven, and high performing workplace culture.

The Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the People & Culture strategy aligned to business goals
  • Partner with senior management to provide expert advice and coaching on all HR matters
  • Review and modernise HR policies, processes, and systems (BambooHR) to ensure best practice
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage HR analytics and reporting, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making
  • Oversee employee relations, ensuring consistency, fairness, and legislative compliance
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Support leadership capability through coaching, development, and cultural alignment
  • Partner on strategic projects including DEI, talent management, and organisational design

 

The Person:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (minimum) or equivalent third-level HR qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ generalist HR experience, including 2 years at senior management level
  • Strong working knowledge of UK (NI/ROI) employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience with HR systems, analytics, and reporting
  • Strategic thinker with excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated success in driving cultural and organisational change

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 7 / Chartered Membership
  • Coaching or DEI qualification
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environments
