We are hiring for our client, an established and growing organisation based in County Antrim, who are seeking to appoint a Payroll Specialist on an initial 12–18 month contract, with strong potential for permanency.

The Role:

• End-to-end processing of payroll on a weekly/monthly basis
• Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation and HMRC regulations
• Managing starters, leavers, statutory payments and pension contributions
• Processing benefits, deductions and salary adjustments accurately
• Reconciling payroll reports and resolving any discrepancies
• Acting as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries
• Supporting year-end processes including P60s and reporting requirements
• Assisting with continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes

The Person:

• Proven experience working as a Payroll Specialist or within a payroll-focused role
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
• Strong communication skills and a professional, confidential approach
• Experience working within a busy finance function is desirable
