An excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join a global engineering company at an exciting time of expansion. Reporting to the NPD Manager you will play key role in designing and developing products that meet customer needs with a focus on continuous improvement

The Role

• Design and develop new products and modifications to existing products
• Create detailed models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to ensure design functionality and durability.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in product design
• Troubleshoot design challenges and develop practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Support the delivery of new product development (NPD) projects within set timelines and budgets.
• Manage design revisions and changes effectively

The Person

• A degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience using SolidWorks
