Mortgage Advisor

We are hiring for our client, a growing financial services organisation, seeking a Mortgage Advisor to join its Dublin City Centre team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified Mortgage Advisor who enjoys supporting clients through the mortgage process and wants to develop within an ambitious organisation. Previous mortgage experience would be advantageous, although applications are also welcomed from professionals currently working towards a relevant qualification.

The successful Mortgage Advisor will manage client relationships, provide clear and compliant mortgage advice, progress applications from initial enquiry through to completion and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The Role

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Understand each client’s financial circumstances, requirements and long-term objectives
• Provide suitable mortgage advice in line with regulatory and compliance standards
• Research and recommend appropriate mortgage products
• Manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to approval and completion
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, estate agents and other relevant parties
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly
• Deliver a professional and responsive service throughout the mortgage process
• Work towards agreed lending, income and activity targets
• Develop referral opportunities and contribute to the growth of the mortgage business

The Person

• Qualified or part-qualified in a relevant financial services or mortgage qualification
• Previous mortgage advisory, mortgage administration or lending experience is desirable
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• A professional, consultative and customer-focused approach
• Good understanding of mortgage products and the application process
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
• Ability to manage multiple applications and competing priorities
• Commercially aware and motivated by delivering a high-quality service
• Comfortable working towards clearly defined targets
