Description:

We are hiring for our client, a leading renewable energy provider operating a waste-to-energy plant in Belfast. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team and ensure the continued safe and efficient operation of their plant.

The Role:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure plant efficiency
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
• Assist with plant upgrades, modifications, and improvements
• Participate in the on-call rota to provide emergency breakdown support

The Person:

• Time-served Mechanical Technician/Maintenance Fitter
• Strong experience in mechanical maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, or energy sectors
• Skilled in fault-finding, repairs, and planned maintenance
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices
