We are hiring for our client, a highly respected and long-established food production company, recognised as one of the UK and Ireland’s leading food producers. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team in Dungannon.

Working within a fast-paced and technically advanced production environment, the successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of mechanical systems across the facility.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site
• Diagnose faults and ensure minimal downtime of industrial production equipment
• Carry out welding and fabrication tasks when required
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site health & safety policies
• Work on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern within a skilled maintenance team

The Person

• Time-served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
• Strong experience working with industrial machinery and equipment in a manufacturing or production setting
• Competent in welding and fabrication
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Safety-focused and proactive with a solutions-driven mindset
