An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the for the introduction of new products and updating current products

The Role

• Creating manufacturing drawings, communicating job requirements clearly and concisely
• Experience in the design and layout of farm buildings and design for the animal flow required
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specify components and ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
• Manage projects with sales through at all stages of the project development, to ensure timely completion of project milestones
• Work in close collaboration with the sales team in the design and layout of new projects

The Person

• Experience as a Design Engineer within manufacturing
• AutoCad 2D and 3D
• Knowledge of materials and ability to cost projects as required
• Full driving licence
