An excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading heavy manufacturing company. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working within a team you will provide technical design solutions to a range of customers

The Role:
- Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs.
- Produce Bill of Materials and update documentation.
- Conduct 3D models and detailed drawings
- Design modification to ensuring continuous improvement of existing products.
- Design of a range of heavy manufacturing equipment
- Customer interaction, supply chain & production support
The Person:
- Degree educated in a relevant engineering related subject
- Minimum of 4 years’ design experience, gained within a heavy manufacturing environment
- Proficient in SolidWorks
