Description

We are hiring for our client, a global manufacturing organisation, who are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their high-performing team based in Dungannon.

This Manufacturing Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of manufacturing engineering, digital transformation, and new product introduction. You will play a key role in ensuring new products, processes, and digital tools are seamlessly integrated into production, working across design, operations, and supply chain.

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will support NPPD, lead MBOM development, and contribute to the rollout of digital solutions, while also driving continuous improvement across the shop floor.

The Role

• Act as the key Manufacturing Engineering interface for NPPD projects
• Convert EBOMs to accurate MBOMs and manage BOM structuring
• Lead transition from legacy BOM formats to new structured systems
• Support prototype builds, gate reviews, and manufacturing releases
• Design, develop and support digital applications to improve process control
• Support shop floor teams with ECOs, process improvements, and troubleshooting
• Drive efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to tooling, jig & fixture design, and assembly support activities


The Person

• Strong background in manufacturing engineering within a production environment
• Experience with BOM management and EBOM to MBOM transition
• Exposure to NPPD and cross-functional project delivery
• Interest or experience in digital manufacturing tools and systems
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Confident communicator, comfortable working across multiple teams

Desirable:
• Experience with digital transformation projects
• Knowledge of assembly operations and workflow optimisation
• Experience implementing structured BOM systems
