Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Salary: £35,119 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
Work Schedule: 4-day week (Monday to Thursday)

The Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

  • Take ownership of production lines, ensuring key KPIs such as Safety, Quality, Velocity, and Cost are met.
  • Lead the introduction of new products and processes (NPI).
  • Conduct problem-solving and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
  • Manage safety, quality, and process improvements on an assembly line.
  • Identify, purchase, and coordinate the installation of tooling, equipment, machinery, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly principles throughout the product development process.
  • Ensure accurate costing of new products through Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing accuracy.
  • Coordinate and implement complex engineering changes.

The Person:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing practices, and/or APQP.
  • Experience with assembly line balancing.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
  • Experience leading RCCA investigations and implementing solutions.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other MRP/ERP systems is advantageous.

  • Competitive salary: £35,119 - £38,000 (depending on experience).
