Description:
We are hiring for our client, a successful FMCG production business based in Citywest, Dublin, who are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team.

This Maintenance Technician job will suit a hands-on maintenance professional with experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment, helping to minimise downtime, improve reliability and keep operations running efficiently.

The Role:

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and/or electrical faults
• Support machine changeovers, breakdown response and equipment improvements
• Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site health and safety procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering function

The Person:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in FMCG, food, packaging, manufacturing or a similar production environment

• Relevant engineering qualification or time-served maintenance background desirable
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Comfortable working an early/late Monday to Friday shift pattern
