The Role

  • Lead and manage the site maintenance department and engineering team
  • Oversee and continuously improve the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme
  • Ensure efficient response to equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime
  • Drive maintenance best practice and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead engineering and capital projects from planning through to completion
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvements
  • Work closely with production teams to maximise plant efficiency and output
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and maintenance standards

 

The Person

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or some supervisory experience
  • Strong background within FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced production environment
  • Multiskilled ability highly desirable
  • Proven experience managing preventative maintenance programmes
  • Ability to lead engineering teams and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Experience delivering maintenance or site improvement projects
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and communication skills
