We are hiring for our client who are seeking to appoint a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer with both mechanical and electrical maintenance experience to play a key role in keeping production operations running smoothly. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for fault-finding, repair, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The Role:

• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on industrial plant and equipment

• Diagnose and resolve breakdown issues quickly to reduce downtime

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and site projects

• Work as part of a skilled engineering team to maintain high operational standards

The Person:

• Engineering qualification, ideally a time-served engineering apprenticeship

• Previous experience in an industrial or factory environment

• Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance

• Proven ability to fault-find, problem solve, and work under pressure

• Flexible, proactive, and able to work well within a team
