Salary: €50,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday – Morning & Evening Shift Rotation

We are hiring for our client, a highly respected and long-established specialist food manufacturer based in Monaghan. Renowned for producing high-quality products, they are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their on-site engineering team.

The successful Maintenance Electrician will play a key role in ensuring minimal downtime, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining the high standards expected within the food manufacturing industry.

The Role:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on plant machinery and systems
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance as part of a team
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and food production regulations
• Support process improvements and machine optimisation projects
• Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records

The Person:

• Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship – essential
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role within FMCG or food production preferred
• Flexible and adaptable with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work shifts (morning/evening rotation – no nights or weekends)
