Description:
We are hiring for our client, a growing mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects across Ireland, seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to join their Newry-based team. This M&E Coordinator job offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from early design through to construction handover. The successful M&E Coordinator will play a key role within a developing pre-construction function, working closely with clients, consultants, and delivery teams.

The Role:
• Lead mechanical coordination from pre-construction to handover
• Chair coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Act as technical liaison across all project stakeholders
• Manage digital project setup (Procore and client systems)
• Identify and resolve coordination issues early
• Report progress to senior management
• Support development of pre-construction processes
• Mentor junior team members

The Person:
• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical/building services (design, coordination, or technical)
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems in construction
• Experience at design or pre-construction stage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Full driving licence and eligible to work in Ireland/UK
• Proficiency in MS Office (Procore/BIM tools desirable)
• Exposure to heat pumps, ventilation, HIUs, or BIM advantageous
