We are hiring for our client, a highly regarded commercial law firm in Dublin, as they seek to appoint a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their established Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to work closely with highly experienced litigation partners on a varied caseload of complex and high-value disputes. The successful candidate will gain strong exposure to High Court and Commercial Court proceedings, with particular interest in candidates who have handled Chancery-related or similar commercial disputes.

The role offers significant client contact, early responsibility and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative, partner-led team.

The Role

  • Advise Irish and international clients on a broad range of commercial disputes
  • Manage High Court and Commercial Court litigation from initial instruction through to resolution
  • Work on matters involving shareholder and partnership disputes, contractual claims, property disputes and professional negligence
  • Support cases involving banking and financial services, insolvency, regulatory matters and contentious private client issues
  • Draft pleadings, affidavits, motions, legal submissions and correspondence
  • Manage discovery, evidence gathering and procedural deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and other professional advisers
  • Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution
  • Assist with the continued development of the firm’s commercial litigation practice

The Person

  • Irish-qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong commercial litigation and dispute resolution experience
  • Experience in Chancery-related disputes would be particularly advantageous
  • Confident managing litigation files and court procedures
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical and strategic advice
  • Comfortable taking ownership of matters while working collaboratively within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
