Litigation Solicitor

We are hiring for our client, a leading Irish law firm, who are seeking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor to join their Litigation & Regulation team in Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team advising on a broad range of commercial litigation, insolvency, restructuring and regulatory matters. The successful candidate will gain exposure to complex disputes, advisory work and emerging areas including data protection, cybersecurity and AI regulation.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Advising insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, corporates, creditors, directors and shareholders on contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters
• Advising secured creditors in relation to enforcement and recovery options
• Working on receiverships, liquidations, examinerships and restructuring matters
• Managing commercial litigation matters across all court levels, with a focus on the superior courts
• Drafting pleadings, legal documentation and correspondence
• Liaising with counsel and managing case files through to conclusion
• Advising clients on regulatory matters, data protection disputes and cybersecurity issues
• Supporting clients on AI governance, compliance and emerging technology regulation
• Advising clients on ADR options including mediation and arbitration

The Person

• Qualified Solicitor in Ireland
• Minimum 2 years’ PQE gained within a top or mid-tier law firm or relevant in-house environment
• Experience in litigation, insolvency, restructuring or regulatory matters
• Strong drafting, analytical and technical skills
• Excellent communication and client management abilities
• Ability to manage a varied and complex workload
• Strong academic background
