A leading offshore law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (Insolvency) to join its high-performing disputes team in Guernsey. This Litigation Associate (Insolvency) role offers exposure to complex, high-value restructuring and insolvency matters within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Litigation Associate (Insolvency) looking to develop both contentious and non-contentious expertise while working closely with sophisticated international clients.
Practice Focus
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including:
- Corporate restructuring and preventative advisory work
- Negotiation of repayment and restructuring agreements
- Formal insolvency processes, including liquidations
- Contentious insolvency proceedings and asset recovery
- Advising creditors, financial institutions, and corporate clients
The role offers a balanced mix of advisory and disputes work, requiring strong commercial awareness and the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer in a commonwealth jurisdiction
- 3–5 years’ PQE with a focus on litigation, restructuring, or insolvency
- Strong academic background
- Commercially minded with an interest in financial and restructuring matters
- Confident communicator with a proactive and adaptable approach
