The Role

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the firm, including client and office accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with regulatory requirements
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor account balances
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Assist with billing and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal accounting regulations
• Liaise with external accountants and support audits where required
• Support the team with general financial administration

The Person

• Previous experience as a Legal Bookkeeper or in a similar accounts role within a legal practice
• Strong understanding of legal accounting rules and compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Reliable, discreet, and professional approach
