The Role

• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Research, design, evaluate mechanical products and equipment
• Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
• Experience and or understanding of electronic sensors
• Conduct research that tests design and performance of equipment and components
• Perform project design reviews in order to ensure projects are constructed according to customer specifications

The Person

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years’ experience with a similar design role within the manufacturing industry
• Experience in Solid Edge would be desirable
