We are hiring for our client, a leading global investment firm, who are continuing to expand their presence in Ireland and are seeking an ambitious Investment Counsellor to join their Dublin team.

This Investment Counsellor job offers the opportunity to work directly with high-net-worth clients, building long-term relationships while advising on financial markets and investment strategies. The successful Investment Counsellor will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, personalised service, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.

The Role:
• Build and maintain long-standing relationships with high-net-worth clients
• Manage a portfolio of client assets typically ranging from €100M–€150M
• Act as the key point of contact between clients and internal investment teams
• Communicate portfolio updates, market insights and investment strategy clearly
• Educate clients on financial markets and the rationale behind investment decisions
• Work closely with investment, research and trading teams to deliver best-in-class service
• Participate in ongoing training to develop advanced knowledge of capital markets


The Person:
• 2+ years’ experience working with private clients in banking or wealth management
• QFA qualified or working towards qualification, desirable
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment principles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Strong relationship-building skills with a client-focused mindset
• Resilient, empathetic and professional approach when dealing with clients
