We are hiring for our client, a leading employer based in Sligo, who are seeking to appoint an ambitious Internal Auditor to join their established finance function.

The Role:

As Internal Auditor, you will:

• Plan and deliver risk-based internal audit assignments
• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior management
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and operational teams
• Monitor implementation of agreed audit recommendations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
• Assist with compliance and governance reporting requirements

This role offers broad exposure across multiple departments, giving the Internal Auditor a strong understanding of the overall business operations.

The Person:

• Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Trained within practice or with audit-focused experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
• Proactive, organised and commercially aware
• Keen to build a long-term career within industry
